DEVELOPING NEW WORK & SCRIPT READING

New Work

Júlia is passionate about developing new work. She regularly collaborates with playwrights developing new plays via dramaturgy sessions, rehearsed readings, and research & development workshops. She has directed several Arts Council funded R&Ds of new projects which gone on to have full runs. She is interested in exploring form and co-creating work from conception with playwrights, designer and theatre-makers. She is currently working on new projects with Stella Green, Naomi Obeng, Billie Collins, Tingying Dong & Blythe Brett.

Script Reading

She is a script reader for the NT Studio, Women’s Prize for Playwriting, Papatango Prize, Bruntwood Prize, and the Royal Court’s Living Archive.
